At Jarco Supply, we know that not every site and not every soil condition is the same. Geotextile fabric and Geogrids are often used to increase soil stability, provide erosion control, or help drain water from the site. There are two types of geotextile fabrics; non-woven and woven. Please click the vendor logos for technical information.
Non-woven fabrics are commonly referred to as filter fabrics. They resemble felt and provide water filtration/flow. Non-woven fabrics are available through each of our locations in the following sizes and strengths:

Woven fabrics are generally used in applications where strength is more critical than filtration. Jobsites with poor or problematic soils often utilize woven fabrics. Construction entrances generally utilize woven fabrics as well to strengthen the soil where heavy loads are entering the jobsite. Woven fabrics are available through each of our locations in the following sizes and strengths:

Geogrids are used for to reinforce soils for retaining walls, slopes, foundations and below roads or structures. Geogrids add tensile strength and stability greater than the soil alone which supports the construction above. Geogrids are available through each of our locations in the below options:

13.1'x328' (477sy)
|
TF120 (comparable to TX160-not a true Triaxial)
